Early morning , our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to enjoy a day tour in the historic city Aswan. Starting with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.
After that proceed to visit the Unfinished Obeliskwhich shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru, is a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt located in Upper Egypt. Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut, it is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings.. Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.
